We believe in and support causes that better the quality of life and improve services to 
those that rely on interpreting services.

Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf

RID is a national membership organization representing the professionals who facilitate communication between people who are deaf or hard of hearing and people who can hear. Interpreters serve as professional communicators in a vast array of settings such as: churches, schools, courtrooms, hospitals, and thearters, as well as television.

American Translators Association

ATA is a professional association founded to advance the translation and interpreting professions and foster the professional development of individual translators and interpreters.

Northern California Translators Association

NCTA was founded in 1978 to assist translators and interpreters with the challenges they meet in thier profession. NCTA has been serving the T&I community since then through the active participation of its members.

California Healthcare Interpreting Association

The California Healthcare Interpreting Association is a public charity dedicated to improving the quality and availablity of language services in the delivery of healthcare. The organization was founded as the California Healthcare Interpreters Association in 1996 by a group of interpreters and program managers.

California Court Interpreters Association

CCIA is a non-profit organization dedicated to advancing the standards of court interpreting and furthering the interests of the profession. It was founded in 1971, and now has chapters throughout California, As well as members-at-large in many states of the union and in other countries.

Sacramento Valley Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf

SaVRID is a Region V Affiliate Chapter of the National Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf, Inc. (RID). RID is the only national association dedicated to the professional development of interpreters and transliterators. Founded in 1964, the goal of RID is to promote the profession of interpreting American Sign Language and English.

Southern CA Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf

SCRID is a chapter of the Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf (RID) and was organized in 1967, then incorporated with a non-profit status in 1971. This chapter of professionals who provide sign language interpretation for Deaf, hard of hearing, and hearing people is comprised of both deaf and hearing interpreters.
